Public nominations for The Liberty Honours ’26 closed on 30 September 2026, concluding the first stage of the inaugural awards cycle.
The Awards Secretariat is now reviewing submissions, validating evidence and preparing eligible candidates for independent assessment across the five official pillars.
Public voting does not determine the outcome. Candidates who advance may be contacted privately for additional information or verification before the 2026 Liberty Honours class is confirmed.
The public unveiling of honourees begins in November, ahead of the formal ceremony on 28 November 2026 at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
